About us
People professionals are the experts in people, work and change. They are uniquely placed to make a difference to individuals, organisations and societies. As their professional body, the CIPD supports them in championing good work and better working lives.
We give CIPD members and professionals across our wider community the opportunity to do much more; to share their talents with those who need them most, to broaden their experiences and insights, to influence good practice across their organisations and to diversify and strengthen our profession.
We harness the experiences of people professionals – experts in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organisational Development and other specialisms. Together we tackle barriers to work and create inclusive workplaces, connect individuals and organisations, and give professionals the opportunity to make an impact beyond their everyday practice and their own organisations.
Our mentoring and development programmes are built around the communities we serve, the talents of our professional community and the concerns of our partners.
